Absolutely amazing display!

I got the Looking Glass Portrait and it's just incredible! The 3D effect without glasses is mind-blowing. Setup was a breeze, and my 3D models really pop now. Seriously, if you're into 3D at all, you need one of these. I'm already planning my next purchase from them. I couldn't be happier with this display!

Reliable as always

This isn't my first purchase from Looking Glass Factory, and once again, they delivered. I ordered the Looking Glass 32 inch display to upgrade my workspace. Just like with my previous Portrait, the product arrived well-packaged and earlier than the estimated delivery date, which is always a plus. The quality is consistently high, and I appreciate that. Their support documentation is also super helpful if you run into any questions during setup. It's why I keep coming back for their hardware; they've earned my trust with how dependable their products and service are.

Good experience overall

I picked up a Looking Glass Go a few weeks ago. It's pretty neat, definitely works as advertised. Shipping was okay, took about a week to get to me in California. The quality feels solid for a portable device. I've been playing around with some of my own models on it. No big complaints, seemed like a smooth process from ordering to getting it set up.

Decent display, minor hiccup

I bought the Looking Glass 8K Gen2 during a developer bundle deal. The display itself is fantastic; the clarity and depth are impressive. Getting it set up with my specific software took a bit more tweaking than I expected, even with the provided plugins. Shipping was on time, and the packaging was secure. I had a quick question for customer service about a display setting, and they were responsive, though it took about a day for a full reply. Overall, I'm satisfied with the value and the product's performance, but the initial software integration could be a smoother out-of-the-box experience.

Smooth purchase of HoloPlay Core

I recently acquired HoloPlay Core to enhance my Looking Glass Portrait experience. The digital download process was very straightforward after purchase; I received the links almost instantly. Installation was simple enough, just followed the instructions on their site. I'm using it primarily for custom holographic content, and it integrates well with Unity, which is my main development environment. I had a small technical query about optimizing some assets, and their online documentation was actually quite comprehensive, saving me from having to contact support directly. This was a purely digital purchase, so no shipping to worry about, but the overall experience from browsing to using the software has been positive. It definitely adds a lot of functionality to the display, letting me push my creative projects further. I'm glad I invested in it, it was worth the cost for the added capabilities.

Will my Black Friday discount code stack with a referral credit? Trying to get the best deal on a Looking Glass Go.

B Ben 3 weeks ago
Nah, they usually don't let you stack codes. You gotta pick one or the other, I learned that the hard way.

D Daniel Taylor 3 weeks ago
I've never seen them allow stacking. Most companies don't. It's usually one promo code per order at checkout.

I'm looking at getting the Looking Glass 8K Gen2, but my PC isn't exactly top-of-the-line. Do I need a super powerful gaming rig to run these things?

N Nathan Wright 1 month ago
For the 8K? Yeah, you'll probably want a pretty beefy graphics card. It's pushing a lot of pixels.

M Matt Rivera 1 month ago
It definitely helps to have a decent GPU, especially for real-time stuff or complex 3D models. The smaller ones are more forgiving, but for the big displays, a powerful PC is a good idea.

Is there a specific spot to enter coupon codes on their website? Can't seem to find it.

R Rachel Moore 4 weeks ago
It's usually at the very end of checkout, right before you finalize the payment.

Yeah, just go through the whole process, put in your shipping info and everything. The promo code box pops up on the final payment page. Can't miss it then.

Anyone know if the Looking Glass Factory displays are genuinely glasses-free? Or is it like 3D TVs that still needed special glasses?

K Kyle Taylor 1 month ago
Totally glasses-free. It's wild. You just look at it and it's 3D.

R Richard 1 month ago
Yeah, it's not like old 3D TV. It uses light field tech, so multiple people can actually see the 3D effect from different angles without any glasses on. It's pretty legit.

Between the Looking Glass Portrait and the Sony Spatial Reality Display, which one is better for just casual 3D model viewing and maybe some art stuff?

H Hannah Robinson 1 month ago
Portrait is probably better for casual home use, and it's way more affordable. Sony's is more for pros.

W William Lopez 1 month ago
I've used both. The Portrait is great for creators and general viewing. Sony's is super high-end and super expensive, usually for enterprise. For personal art, Portrait is definitely the way to go.
